Mr. Chews

Dear Stydents,

As you can see, we are very happy to have our hoomans home with us. I do not think that the hoomans are as excited though.  I think they are worried about what is going on in the world right now. They are all doing what they can to stay healthy- that means they get to stay home and play with us and they don’t go out unless they really have to.  There is a lot of hand washing going on as well.

You know what else they are doing?  They are:

  1. Reading
  2. Coloring
  3. Playing video games together
  4. Watching movies
  5. Cooking together
  6. Planning meals together
  7. Playing with ninja kitties
  8. Writing in a journal
  9. Writing letters to their friends and family
  10. Playing board games
There is just so much to do together!!   Of course, Tawley, Maddie’s, Stella and Me (Mr. Chews, a.k.a Ninja Kitty), have to be in the middle of all of it.

I am almost forgot to give an update about the dog and me- we are tolerating each other. (What does that word mean?).  There may be some hissing involved but we haven’t attacked each other in two days.  I would say that is progress!! (What does this word mean?)

Well, it is time for my morning nap, so it is goodbye for now.  Wash your hands, listen to your parents and stay healthy!!  My mom sure does miss all of you!!

Love,
Chewy

P.S. Can you find any mistakes?  Did you find the meaning of tolerating and progress?  Leave me a comment to tell me what they mean and the mistakes you found!  Hope to hear from you.

Update

Dear Students,

Hello again!  I am having such a great time in my new home. I am getting along with both my cat friends now, but I am still afraid of the dog.  I spend my time eating, playing and napping.

You all had such great questions and I liked hearing more about you.  Someone asked what my favorite number is and I don’t know what numbers are, so I’m not sure!!  In your opinion, what number is best?

Your teacher, my mom, showed me the pictures of your marshmallow towers/ creations- they were so cool and looked yummy!  What is your favorite thing to build?

Well, it is nap time, so I am going to find a nice blanket to go lay on.  I’ll write more and answer more questions later.

Ninja Out!

So Many Letters

Dear Students,

As you can see, I have made myself quite comfortable in my new home!   Thank you so much for all of your letters!  My mom read each one to me and Benjamin helped me answer them.

First, I love pizza and Popsicles, but only strawberry ones!  Also, I love toys.  My favorite is my little white and black mice that was put in catnip- love batting those around.  If I can't find my mice, I will play with anything I can find- bottle caps, tissues, my mom's plants, or my treats.

Taking naps is one of my favorite things to do when I am not eating or playing.  Being pet by my family is pretty awesome too.

I really like my cat friend, Tawley, but Maddie and I are not getting along.  We hiss at each other a lot.  The dog is really big and scary, so I am not ready to meet her quite yet.

Thank you so much for writing to me.  I really liked getting mail!  Hope to hear from you again soon.

Sincerely,

Chewy
